We are a “White Hat” agency. Like any other human enterprise, we may sometimes stretch white hat a bit, but our experience has shown that using Google approved approaches will make you a big winner in the end. That brings us to the current case.
You can imagine that the keywords Mortgage Broker Los Angeles would be pretty competitive, and you would be right. However, through a campaign of YouTube videos, substantial blogging, press releases, article submissions, and a robust website, we had reached page one for the website www.mortgagehelplosangeles.com. Keep in mind that all of the above content was well written, original, and relevant. We had also created 100′s of excellent citations, and add to them all the time. As a result, we had secured the number one position for Mortgage Broker Los Angeles in Google Places.
With all of the changes in 2012, we had held our positions. Until about 2 weeks ago. We have slipped to #3 on the Everything page with a Google Places (Google+ local page) listing. We still have a video on page 1, but the website has slipped to page 5, otherwise known as oblivion.
We can see no reason for the slippage. We will obviously be employing multiple methods to try and shore it up. If you would like to have a bit of fun, see if you can find something we aren’t seeing.
